I am drawn to all things old and rustic, especially metal. I
re-purpose old metal tins that once contained candy, cookies, tea,
coffee, and spices into vintage-inspired adornments: earrings,
bracelets, necklaces, brooches, rings, and cufflinks. Most of the tins
I use were made in England, some are from West Germany and Holland,
and a few are candy and talcum powder tins made in the USA. Each piece
is a unique and colorful combination of color, texture, and old
loveliness. I hand make many of the metal components, hammering and
oxidizing the surfaces. I use sterling, raw brass, which is nickel and
lead free, and copper.
