Cheryl Tenorio - Artianguis

The word Tianguis [ ' t i‿ä ŋ g i s ] comes from the Náhuatl "tianquiztli" (a dialect that is still spoken in some parts of Mexico and El Salvador) and it’s the word used for open air market, bazaar or what is known as flea market. As an artist that was born and raised in Mexico, going to the tianguis every week was a tradition. Now, it is my turn to spread the love in a modern yet so traditional way by doing what I love. From wheel thrown ceramics to handmade journals and screen-printed goodies, Artianguis brings to you only items that have been designed with thought, made with love one at a time, and finished with care and attention to detail. If you love art, handmade, and one-of-a-kind stuff, this is definitely the place for you!
