I sell decorative pillow covers. I specialize in young and modern fabric. I also do a lot of applique, hand embroidered designs that I come up with myself and other interesting things like rffles, lace, etc. I think it is important for everyone to have access to great style, so I keep my prices low. Plus, the pillow cover really is the way to go if you want some instant freshness for your home especially for the holidays. When Christmas is over, you just fold the cover and store for next year, no need to store bulky festive pillows. Visit me here...

I make several items including:
1. Women’s Clothing. I collect rare, vintage textiles and use them to make women’s clothing, mostly dresses and skirts. I design them, make the patterns, and sew them. All clothes are very cute, unique and one of a kind
2. Embroidered pillows. I hand embroider pillows with various designs that I come up with. These are also one of a kind and quite adorable
3. Laptop and ipod socks. These are soft cases for laptops and ipods with unique images and designs. I use rare and unique fabrics for these also. All merchandise is hand made of the highest quality.

I make t-shirts and dresses out of original vintage fabrics. All of the patterns are designed for a tight slim fit. The catch to my clothes is that the fabric I use is so original that you'll never see anyone else with the same item of clothing. I make these clothes because I really enjoy creating things that help people express who they are. It is very fulfilling to make an item of clothing that comes to be someones favorite shirt, or even just something they love pulling out once in a while.

Candace Jean Andersen
I am Candace. I live with my young son in downtown Salt Lake. I grew up carving drawings in my mother's dining room table and making miniature farms in the backyard with twigs and paper animals. For two years I was a pastry chef for the Bridge Cafe; funneling all my creativity in to vegan baked goods. I recently achieved a degree in graphic design and continue to create all kinds of stuff from home; selling it online through etsy or at the Women's Art Center. I find inspiration in the books my son and I read together or in the nature we find during walks we take outside.
As of late I have a huge fascination withhistorical fashion, and small bits of it are winding their way in to myworks as I learn and discover more. I've always appreciated flora and fauna and it seems more birds find their homes among my portraits than anything else (at least for the time being). I've got my heart set on creating a series of endangered portraits: one of "my girls" featured with everything from whales to lichen in hopes of spreading awareness. (Crossing my fingers I don't sound too much like a hippie. {No offense to hippies.})
I am taking my art in to other forms rather than just the "print". I am hoping to sell original works created on/in thrifted books, found frames and even jewelry. I have cards that are so random they suit any body in any situation no matter what. Seriously. I have little mirrors inside hand-sewn pouches. I have tiny hand-sewn creatures in boxes and some wearing scarves. I think with the range I approach all the stuff swimming in my head, that I've got a little something for everyone.

Dallas Russell | Easily Amused
Dallas Russell was born in 1923 to retired vaudeville performers: Frank “The Flash” Russell and Natasha “Boom Boom” Valnentino…. Ok Dallas just has a wild imagination, as is evident from her fanciful, Easily Amused collection. Actually, she was born much later in Salt Lake City and was bestowed the gift of craft by her mother. Dallas wasted no time in using her artistic inheritance. She began by creating matching outfits and fashionable accessories for her and her doll collection. She finds her inspiration through color, all things adorable, Japanese cute and vintage findings. Oh, did I mention she likes silly things, especially anthropomorphized animals that wear hats and eat spaghetti! Other than making the world a more whimsical place, she is a Program Coordinator for youth at an after-school and summer program. She likes to ride her bike, watch hours of Project Runway and The Daily Show with her patient hubby Steve. So step right up and see the amazing Dallas and the world of Easily Amused!
Inspired by variety, Dallas never makes the same thing twice. She loves to sew and embroider; she dabbles in crocheting, she beads and makes jewelry. So hurry, hurry, hurry, step right up and get your ticket for the imagination contortionist and all of her wonderful oddities. Easily Amused gifts are intended for the frequently exuberant, the blatantly giddy, the often nostalgic and, of course, the easily amused. If you miss the attention to detail of yesteryear Dallas is your gal; her one of a kind creations are great to have and share.

I want to do something completely different this time. There will still be some clay, some felt and some calendars. The theme though is "Whimsimobilia" (to see truly the most boring blog on the planet check out http://whimsimobilia.blogspot.com/). The idea is to create a mini toy store of sorts made up of fun things that I am making out of the detritus of the business. Small books, table tent prayer list/pads, puppets (?), felt books, felt tissue holders, super strong clay magnets (circles & bees only), a few tie dyed aprons with a clever applique, jumping jacks covered in vintage wall paper, bubble blowers, small bags of clay beads, maybe a stick horse or two.

25 years ago I was born barefoot in the Utah valley. I started inventing things to make life easier, and drawing was the best way I found to describe my inventions. My drawings turned into all sorts of things: stories, characters, designs and games, and I started learning from other people's drawings and pictures of all kinds.
Today picture-making is still a new and fascinating world for me. My wife and little boy make it easy for me to enjoy things and they are huge supports for me and my work. If I'm not inside making pictures, I'm probably outside sucking in the Fall air with my family.
My paper cut-outs are parades of shape and colour. Playful portraits of animals, people and monsters decorate my cards and wall-pictures, making them perfect for gifts or roommates.
