I like to make bags made from old pairs of pants. I make soft toys- some rattle some don't. I have a new design for the rattles that sold so well at the last bazaar and I am working on a new toy design that will be better for small babies. I also make hot pads and embroider kids T-shirts. I might even pull out some other new ideas by the time May gets here...

Gentry Blackburn | Frosty Darling
Gentry is an painter, crafter and owner of the Frosty Darling Boutique in downtown Salt Lake City. Her colorful and kitschy wares include bottle cap earrings, felt brooches, plush squirrels and vintage fabric aprons. Her focus this year has been a series of small paintings of 70's and 80's television shows and a collection of accessories and housewares celebrating her favorite state, Utah!
Gentry Blackburn | Frosty Darling
Gentry Blackburn is a painter, crafter and owner of the kooky-cute boutique Frosty Darling where she shows her work along side other local artists. With a degree in painting she focused on her fine art and worked at the library until she started making button earrings and hand-painted throw pillows. Then came forays into knitting, sewing and a giant leap into retail to showcase all these new wonders. She was awarded, "Best Crafty Lady" in Salt Lake City Weekly's 2007 Artys issue and keeps on truckin' with her bright color vintage carnival style.
This holiday collection will feature felt finger puppets, button earrings, throw pillows, vintage fabric aprons, stuffed animals, and small paintings. I'm really excited about the super furry blue squirrels I've been working on!
Susan Garner | Persimmon & Pink
I make quality and cute stuffies—in the Bazaar I'm planning on featuring my Blastoid Cats and Gorillas/Gorillies. I'm also hoping to introduce my poster line of Christian and LDS specific posters that share a religious message without calligraphy and a country blue or maroon color palette. Christian artwork doesn't have to be stuffy or unattractive after all. ;o)
I find buyers who like unique, high quality, and well designed items are drawn to my goods and I aim to please. Visit me here...

Dallas Russell | Easily Amused
Dallas Russell was born in 1923 to retired vaudeville performers: Frank “The Flash” Russell and Natasha “Boom Boom” Valnentino…. Ok Dallas just has a wild imagination, as is evident from her fanciful, Easily Amused collection. Actually, she was born much later in Salt Lake City and was bestowed the gift of craft by her mother. Dallas wasted no time in using her artistic inheritance. She began by creating matching outfits and fashionable accessories for her and her doll collection. She finds her inspiration through color, all things adorable, Japanese cute and vintage findings. Oh, did I mention she likes silly things, especially anthropomorphized animals that wear hats and eat spaghetti! Other than making the world a more whimsical place, she is a Program Coordinator for youth at an after-school and summer program. She likes to ride her bike, watch hours of Project Runway and The Daily Show with her patient hubby Steve. So step right up and see the amazing Dallas and the world of Easily Amused!
Inspired by variety, Dallas never makes the same thing twice. She loves to sew and embroider; she dabbles in crocheting, she beads and makes jewelry. So hurry, hurry, hurry, step right up and get your ticket for the imagination contortionist and all of her wonderful oddities. Easily Amused gifts are intended for the frequently exuberant, the blatantly giddy, the often nostalgic and, of course, the easily amused. If you miss the attention to detail of yesteryear Dallas is your gal; her one of a kind creations are great to have and share.
