The goal of my art is "ostranenie". The technique of presenting common things in an unfamiliar way in order to enhance perception of the familiar. I primarily produce etchings on scratchboard or clayboard. My etching pieces include portraits and abstract motifs. Most recently, I have also been experimenting with prints from tree stumps which expose the many layers of tree rings.

I believe everyday is an occasion and like making recycled cards that are simply un-throw-away-able.
